Jesus, the 2 guys on the way to Emmaus, and camcorders

How awesome whould it have been to be one of the two guys that Jesus met up with (on the road to Emmaus) after he was resurrected?! (Luke 24:13-35) http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=luke%2024:13-35&version=31

Specifically I would love to know what it was that Jesus said to them about the "scriptures concerning himself" (v. 27) It would be so cool to hear Jesus talking about himself about his death and resurrection and all the stuff He did and went through FOR LOVE! Love for us and Love for his Father! To hear him explaining the scriptures in the exact light and context with no wondering. It would be like a huge OH!!!! Duh, what was i thinking, ofcourse!

I know we have the entire new testament now, but THAT would be awesome to hear it out of His mouth. If only they had pocket recorders or mini-camcorders back then!

Coffee Beans

So i'm at AK's Coffee (mallory works here btw) and i just got a Creme Brulee... it's good! You should try it. I'm working on this weeks message on the crucifixion of Jesus. It's going to be awesome! Well, rather it is awesome that Jesus died for you and me. We are his students, his disciples. He asks that we "recruit" more students, disciples for His kingdom. Really that we share the Good News of Jesus so that people could hear and believe.

BTW, thanks goes out to all my adult volunteers helping with the human video skit for Easter. Thanks for pushing through the hard work of it and helping to connect students to some of the work of the Kingdom of God. Thanks goes to Ashlee, Melanie, Cody, and Jason.

Testing, testing, 1 2 3.

This is a test, this is only a test. But while i'm at it i might as well add something somewhat interesting. We went looking at houses today. There are a lot for sale, but either they are crappy or too expensive. I know that God will help us to find a great one to fit what we want and need. So i guess i'll sign out for now. I am looking forward to what God has in store for us this week @ 2Eleven! Connect with students and helping to connect students with God.
